"No Rules" Guidelines

We assemble to enjoy our sisterhood and celebrate a dis-functional jolly good time.
The Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper who started the Red Hat Society suggests we wear something “red on our head” each time we assemble. It can be as fancy or as simple as a red ribbon (or pink for Pink Hatters), just so the public will know you are a red hatter. On your birthday, wear something purple (or lavender for Pink Hatters) on your head, if you want to. I think that this is a lot of fun. Regarding attire, you do not have to wear solid red or purple. You can wear a purple top and any color pants or skirt.
Guests are always welcomed. This is the way we extend a “red hand friendship.”
You do not have to come to all events. I understand each of us has other commitments and always remember your family comes first.
Your suggestions are always welcome and appreciated. This chapter is not about one person. It is about all members.
Most importantly, let’s always treat each other as we want to be treated. Life is too short to be wasted on negative things.

A royal subject of the Dazzling Red Hat Darlings Chapter of the Red Hat Society, do hereby pledge:
• To wear my hatter colors proudly.
• To never be ashamed of having fun.
• To show my spirit of adventure at dress-ups by trying something new.
• To forget the troubles of the “outside” world during dress-ups.
• To turn back time and reach for the little girl inside of me.
• To giggle, laugh, dress up, and play.
• To treat not only my chapter, but all other chapters of the Red Hat Society with Hattitude that shows honor among all my hatter sisters.
