About Lions
Since 1917, Lions clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. From
involving members in projects as local as cleaning up an area park or as far-reaching as bringing sight to the
world's blind, Lions clubs have always embraced those committed to building a brighter future for their community.
Today with more than approximately 45,000 clubs in 197 countries and geographical areas, Lions have expanded
their focus to help meet the ever-increasing needs of our global community.
Our programs are continually changing
to meet new needs and greater demands, but our mission has never wavered:
The Goose Creek Lions Club Gift of Sight Program
The Gift of Sight program offers help to the public in obtaining eyeglasses for those who need, but cannot afford them.The Gift Of Sight program will only provide eye care to those under severe financial restrictions. The Gift Of Sight program reserves the right to refuse assistance to anyone who does not meet the strict requirements of the program.
To apply for assistance, complete the Sight Assistance Request Form.
The form can be submitted by filling in the form online and clicking the "Email" button at the top of the page or by completing online and printing (click the "Print" button at the top of the page) then mailing to: Goose Creek Lions Club, P.O. Box 239, Goose Creek, SC 29455. The form can also be printed blank and completed by hand and mailed to the club.
