Welcome to Hilltop Baptist Church Welcome to the web-site of Hilltop Baptist Church. We are an Independent Baptist Church that believes the King James Version of the Bible is the infallible word of God and the absolute authority as to where we do stand! We believe that everyone benefits from the faithful teaching of God's word, and so our desire is to teach the whole Bible to the whole family.
In 1981, at the age of Six, the word of God began to take root in my heart! I understood that something was wrong with my life and through God's word I understood that I am a sinner and needed the forgiveness that only Jesus could give! I believed with all my heart that Jesus truly did die on that cross for my sins, was buried, and three days later arose from the grave; offering you and I forgiveness of our sin, new life in Christ, and eternal life in Christ! I trusted Jesus to be my Saviour and have never been the same! The Lord led my wife, Lisa and I to join membership with Hilltop Baptist Church in 1993. In 1995, the Lord called me to preach, in 1997, the Lord opened the door for a great adventure - Teenagers! The position of youth Pastor is the second best position in the world! In August of 2004, the Lord raised me up as Pastor and asked me to Shepherd the greatest church ever!

DIRECTIONS TO CHURCH:
Coming from Dallas on HWY 80, going East, take the Collins Rd. exit. Turn left at the light. Go to fourth stop sign which is TownEast Rd. Turn right and a quick left onto Polly Rd. Follow Polly Rd until it turns into East Fork Rd. Polly Rd will turn off to the left, you will keep on straight. Hilltop B.C. is down on the left.
Coming from Dallas on HWY I-30, going East, take Zion exit. Turn right onto Zion to stop sign. This is Bobtown Rd, turn left and follow until next stop sign which is Barnesbridge Rd, turn left on Barnesbridge, follow down to Polly Rd on the right and take a right. Follow Polly to the next stop sign which is East Fork Rd. Turn left and the church is down on the left.
God Sent Us A Saviour!
If Man's greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator.
If Man's greatest need would have been technology, God would have sent us a scientist.
If Man's greatest need would have been money, God would have sent us an economist.
If Man's greatest need would have been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer.
Man's greatest need is FORGIVENESS and so God sent us a SAVIOUR!
If you have never trusted Jesus as your Saviour, you have not been forgiven of your sin, You have not been saved from the torturous flame of Hell, and if you die in that position you will forever be separated from the Lord Jesus Christ! Your greatest need is forgiveness and Jesus died to pay the price of our sin. I hope you will look deep into your heart today and ask yourself; if I die today, where will I go, Heaven or Hell?
WOTL stands for "Weighting On The Lord". This is a support group aimed to aid in motivation and encouragement as we strive to lose weight, begin an exercise regimen and improve our general health. It is our focus to "Weight" (wait) upon the Lord, gaining strength and perseverance through His word and prayer.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31.
AWANA stands for "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed." This comes from the scripture II Tim 2:15. This is an excellent program geared at teaching children to hide God's words in their heart through Bible memorization, and to be equipped with God's truths at all times. The children love coming as they enjoy a variety of activities including, Bible memorization, Bible activities, game time, snacks and a safe Christian atmosphere.
Awana Registration - Wednesday 8/29/07. There is a $10 registration fee.
Awana Begins - Wednesday
9/5/07 at 7:00 and runs til about 8:30.
