Sell your gently-worn children's clothing!
Discover great bargains on kids clothes and toys!
We will be accepting stylish, gently worn spring and summer clothing in girls sizes 0-16 and boys sizes 0-20. We will also be accepting swimsuits, children's shoes, baby equipment, including furniture and bedding, books, movies, and toys. All items must have all parts and be in excellent working condition. We DO NOT accept maternity clothes, nursing bras, breast pumps, most t-shirts, stuffed animals, bottles, sippy cups, bibs, burp cloths, pacifiers, infant onesies or t-shirts, videos or DVDs that do not have boxes, pageant dresses, free diaper bags, diaper pails, Happy Meal toys or household items.
Limit 50 clothing items and 50 non-clothing (not on hangers) items per consignor. See details below for how to prepare items for sale.
Come to the Tag Pick Up at HIGHLAND CHURCH OFFICES, 5565 SHELBY OAKS DRIVE (click above for map/directions), on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. until tags are gone. Come early! When we run out, we will not be able to buy more.
Consignors must tag their own items. You may purchase a tagging gun from us at the Tag Pick Up time.You may also make an appointment to drop off your items at Tag Pick-Up. If you need extra inventory sheets:download an inventory sheet here. (Please return any tags you do not use.)
Prepare and tag sale items according to the directions at right.
To make an appointment to drop off your items on Wednesday, contact Dawn Gilreath at (901) 372-9163. No appointments will be made after April 18. No items will be accepted on Wednesday without an appointment.
Consignors receive 80% of the selling price of items sold.
Want to Shop the Sale Early? Volunteer!
Contact Amy Williams (379-9800) to volunteer to work at the sale. Volunteers shop first! If you work three or more shifts, you shop before other volunteers. Your husband can work a shift for you. If you want to shop at Pre-Sale, you must consign at least 10 items, unless you are a volunteer.
Any un-sold items can be picked up on Item Pick-Up Day. (See Important Dates at left.) Any items not picked up at this time will be donated.
Consignor checks will be mailed out approximately three weeks (or earlier) following the sale.
Always bring your best items! We will buy a limited number of tags. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they are gone we will not be ordering any more. NEW: If you bring items for more than one consignor number to receiving you will have to go to the back of the line to have your second group of items checked. This is only fair to other consignors who have brought only one order.
We reserve the right to refuse any item based on condition and seasonal use. Stained clothing and clothing that smells of smoke will be refused. (See HowToCleanAnything.com for stain removal suggestions.)
All clothes, including sleepers, must be on hangers with the hook facing left as you face the front of the item. All two-piece items must be safety-pinned together. Safety pin overalls and pants to hangers. Pants folded over hangers will NOT be accepted.
Shoes should be in excellent condition and placed in ZIPLOC BAGS with the size written on the outside of the bag. We will only be accepting 5 pair of shoes per consignor. Shoes will not be accepted unless in excellent condition.
Videos and DVDs should be brought in original boxes only. We will not accept them without boxes. There is a limit of 5 videos per consignor. There is not currently a limit on DVDs.We will only accept movies appropriate for children.
Please tag your own toys, books, videos and anything that cannot be tagged with a tagging gun. Tags must be firmly attached. We are not responsible for lost tags. Tag your own clothing in the selvage or the seam on the right hand side of the garment as you face it. You may purchase a tagging gun from us for $10.
Arrange clothes in order of size, from smallest to largest, with boy and girl items separate.
List items on the inventory sheet in the same order they are arranged (from smallest to largest and separated boy and girl items).
Your asking price should reflect 1/4 to 1/3 the original price. Nothing should be priced less than $1. Price in $.50 increments.
Use inventory sheets provided ONLY. Download an inventory sheet here. (No notebook paper, no backs of paper, etc.)
Fill out clothing tags in INK. Fill out BOTH HALVES OF TAG. Information should match inventory sheets.
Use white tags for items you want to sell at full price throughout the sale. Use pink tags for items you wish to sell for half price on the second day of the sale. Do not use a pink highlighter to make white tags pink. Attach all tags to items.
