MOPS stands for Mothers Of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through Kindergarten. Expectant moms are welcome too! We are so glad you are visiting our site. We hope you find information and inspiration here. We are a group of Moms dedicated to meeting the needs of every mother of preschoolers. Moms need Moms! They need to know they are not alone--that there are other mothers facing challenges, loneliness, and heartfelt desire to be the best mom they can possibly be. Moms matter at Hilldale, so we are extending an invitation to you to come enjoy crafts, food, encouraging speakers, discussion and christian fellowship with us twice a month and be uplifted and appreciated as a mother. Everyone needs a break, right? A mother's job never ends...there's no time off, lunch break, time clock to clock out. So, come take a break & do something for yourself! Your children will be lovingly cared for in MOPPETS while you enjoy the meeting. We, the Steering Team, are excited about making this a wonderful year of discovery & hope as we journey through this ride called "Mothering"! This year's theme,"Together on Planet Mom" promises to be helpful, exciting, and fun!

This theme equips moms to learn more about themselves as they go through the adventure of motherhood. We will celebrate and embrace the fun in the experiences, even in the midst of daily mom-life that stretches us emotionally and spiritually. The knowledge that God is with us on the mothering adventure gives hope. God's love is big enough for the magnitude of the adventure!

This year's theme Bible verse is "where two or three come together in My name, there I am with them" Matthew 18:20. So, let's come together to get refueled, reconnected and rejuvenated as moms. Your first meeting is free. Childcare is always provided! Some membership fees apply. See you in 2009 and 2010! Have a great summer.

You don't have to do mothering alone. Whether you need a friend to compare stories with, a shoulder to lean on, or ideas to help you be a better mom-Hilldale MOPS is just the place. Experience warmth and shared wisdom from other moms, not all the same age, lifestyles or backgrounds, but all with a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be.

September 4th - our first meeting! Come get to know all of the MOPS moms for the year and the steering team.

September 18th

October 2--Field Trip to Honeysuckle Hill Farm! --meet at church at 9:00am to caravan! NO regular meeting! We will cover the admission cost for All Registered MOPS moms & MOPPETS. Any visiting moms or MOPPETS will need to pay the $6 admission cost. Directions & info at www.honeysucklehillfarm.com
