Coaching highlights

Mike Sellers, long time Blount Countian, is lead instructor. Mike has had success as a girls coach with AAU and travel teams in Middle TN including the Murfreesboro Lady Belles and TN Team Pride as well as giving both private and group instruction. TN Team Pride is recognized as one of the top girls AAU program in the nation on an annual basis. He has coached and trained several current high school girls who are being scouted heavily by D1 and D2 universities. His methods and intensity of teaching have proven very successful. Some of his recent accomplishments include:
- 2011 8th Coached 8th Grade HoopItUp GURLZ to 3rd place finish at USBA Nationals. The team finished with a 36-7 record.
2011 Founded HoopItUp Basketball Club. The first season began with 9 teams. They are known as the HoopItUp GURLZ
and HoopItUp BOYZ
2010 TN Flight Select 11U Coach, 17th Place Finish AAU D1 Nationals,TN AAU State Runner-up, TN AAU Sub-state Champions,KY Blast AAU Super Region Champions, AAU DI National Qualifier, Placed 1st in four other area tournaments in the 12U division
- 2010 TN Flight Select 9U Coach, AAU State 4th Place, KY Blast AAU Super Regional Runner-up, AAU DI National Qualifier, Finished 1st or 2nd in 4 additional area tournaments.

- 2007 YBOA State Runner-up, 11U Girls, TN Team Pride
