PTO Meeting
The next PTO Meeting will be held Nov. 16th at 6:30 in the Music Room at KES. Children are welcome to attend. We will be discussing a fundraiser for the spring semester so come with some ideas. Thank you to everyone who helped make the Chili Supper/Silent Auction a success. We appreciate all the wonderful volunteers who gave their time.
OPEN HOUSE/CHILI SUPPER/SILENT AUCTION
Open House was a great success! The Chili Supper and Silent Auction were both successful and we appreciate everyone who came and ate and bid on items. We couldn't have done it without all the wonderful volunteers!
Block Wall Handprints
WE APOLOGIZE FOR NOT GETTING TO EVERYBODY WHO PAID LAST YEAR. WE HAVE YOUR CHILD'S NAME,(probably, if we don't, email dorathomas@live.com for resolution) AND WE ARE WORKING DILIGENTLY ON COMPLETING THE BACKLOG FROM LAST YEAR. If you are interested in still buying a block you may please contact a PTO member or email us kingstonpto@yahoo.com. We will also be allowing some children to paint their handprints during school hours-details to follow. We are working with Mrs. Sitzlar to get this scheduled. Thank you for your patience.
School Spirit Items
We have 44" (SEMI-COMPACT) and 60" (FULL SIZE) ORANGE AND BLUE UMBRELLAS WITH A YELLOW JACKET LOGO/INSIGNIA FOR SALE! The smaller one is $15 and the bigger one is $20. Please see someone in PTO or in the KES office if you are interested in purchasing one. You also have the ability to purchase items such as customized apparel, sports towels, mouse pads, dog tags, and more online! RECEIPTS AND BOX TOPS
It's that time again. This year we have added some additional items that you can collect at home and send in to school to help the school earn money. We are now collecting Campbell's soup labels, and Nestle's Pure bottled water labels as well as Box Tops, empty ink cartridges and old cell phones. You can register your Kroger card to benefit KES too! We will begin collecting Food City and Piggly Wiggly receipts soon.
Please continue to recycle paper in the dumpsters located in the lower corner of the faculty parking lot. We can take newspaper and office paper.
