News Recovering from surgery of a brain tumor.  NOWLIN NOWLIN HAS RETIRED FROM QUEEN. She is home and doing well. She still is a true Red Hatter and will always have it in her blood. 
Nowlin has retired from Queen. The ladies are still very active.

Welcome to LADYBUGS
We are Chapter #42187 of the Official Red Hat Society. The Red Hat Society is comprised of chapters in every state and over thiry countries whose main purpose is to dress up, get together and have fun! We throw out the "rule book", but we still remember our manners.As a member of the Red Hat Society, you become a part of a huge network of like-minded women who celebrate the power of sisterhood.
The Red Hat Society began as a result of a few women deciding to greet middle age with verve, humor and elan. We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life, and since we are all in it together, we might as well join red-gloved hands and go for the gusto together.
You must be a woman of 50 or over (or you may be a Pink Hatter under 50), and you must attend functions in full regalia, (red hat, purple outfit for women 50 and over, or pink hat and lavender outfit for women under 50).
Ladybugs meet on the forth Saturday of each month. We have no rules only a few guidelines.
WE LAUGH, WE CRY, WE HUG A LOT.
WE KEEP EACH OTHER STRONG.
WHEN ONE OF US GOES OUT FOR FUN, THE REST ALL GO ALONG.
WE GAD ABOUT, WE LUNCH AND MUNCH, IN ONE BIG HAPPY THRONG.
