A big THANK YOU to the participants of Civil War Day at the Norris Middle School. These volunteers included members of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865 Lucinda Heatherly, Tent #3, Knoxville, TN; members of the Ellen Renshaw House United Daughters of the Confederacy #2624; members of the Longstreet Zollicoffer Sons of Confederate Veterans; Lynn Fox; Buddy Moss; Sandra and Gerald Augustus; and Mr. and Mrs. JW Binion. Participants showcased their love of history for Norris students Tuesday, May 3. Their presentations and Civil War Era outfits were spectacular!
