We need parents who are trained!

Even if you aren't able to volunteer as a registered scout leader, every parent that is trained is a big help when we go on official Scout outings. Did you know that each official Scout outing requires a certain number of trained adults and if we don't have that number, we can't go? Take some time to complete one or all of these online training opportunities and BE PREPARED for your scout and our Pack!

Click here and scroll down to find links to online training in
  • This is Scouting
  • Youth Protection Training
  • Hazardous Weather
You'll be asked to register and create and account. You do not need a "Member ID" to do this. Thank you, from your Pack! For more information on these training sessions, email or call our Pack Leader, Scott Parris

Blue and Gold Information 2012
  • February 25, 2012 at the Sango UMC
  • The theme this year is International Night. Each den has drawn the name of a country that they will highlight.
  • Scouts are encouraged to wear international costumes and decorate their table. Click THIS MS Word file for rules on table decorations, costumes and judging.
  • Food is a Den-wise potluck. Coordinate through your den leader
  • Each Den is asked to bring a dish to be placed on the International Tasting Table. Your dish needs to be large enough to be sampled by 30 - 50 people.
  • THIS MS Word file for rules on that contests

2012 Roundtable Meetings
The 2012 COGIOBA Roundtable Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of every month, unless otherwise noted, at the 1st Church of the Nazarene across from Clarksville High School. Everyone is welcome to attend. Why not join us to get insight in planning the upcoming month's pack activities and up to the moment district schedule of events.
Calling all Parents, we need you!
Are you up to the challenge? Remember our goal in Pack 509 is for every incoming Tiger Parent to enjoy and observe their first year, then come back with a roar in their new year and join the rest of us in volunteering for Leader and behind the scenes jobs. Please contact Scott Parris or Bob Johnson and find out what your next adventure with Pack 509 will be!

Parents,
As a part of showing the rest of BSA our wonderful group of young Cubs, the Den Leaders and I will be posting photos of Den and Pack activities on this website. Your respective Den Leaders will be asking you to sign a universal release as a part of the Medical form to do these postings. If we happen to put a photo(or first name) up of a child that you do not want posted please contact johnsonjL@charter.net.

Den Leaders,
Please update your Den information. If you aren't sure how to edit the website, contact Julie to learn how to get your information posted.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated,
