OUR POLICY AND PROCEDURE MANUAL
It is our dream that the Peace at Last Ministry will be a place where the hurting, hopeless,discouraged,depressed,frustrated, and confused find help with their addictions,and poor life choices through the teachings of the Bible. We dedicate ourselves to helping men know Jesus and his Word, so that they can live their lives with, joy, happiness and the freedom in our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Ask and it will be given to you.
Seek and you will find.
Knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives,
He who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks,
The door will be open."
"WE ARE FISHERS OF MEN"
During a mission trip to South America, Our Founder received a calling from the Lord, to open a Mission House in Knoxville Tennessee. This would be the first of it's kind. A house founded on the Word of God. After many months of wrestling with the command, John Wampler obeyed the calling and started the initial phase of starting a Non Profit Christian Ministry for men who were Spiritually and Morally bankrupt. In the spring of 1998, Peace at Last Ministry became a reality.To date, over 480 men have walked through these doors.New ideas, purpose, and the seed of growth instilled in their lives.
AND THE LORD CALLED,
AND MADE HIS REQUEST KNOWN
and John obeyed
To date, John has never received, or requested a salary for his 8 years of dedicated service as Founder,President,Counselor, and Chairman of the Board. A Testimony to his heart and faith in this endeaver.

The dictionary defines accountability as;
"Liable to being called to account; "answerable for acts or decisions,responsible,able to fulfill obligations".
Peace at Last emphasizes heavily on accountability as a tool in making the necessary changes in the men's lives. Until they are willing to take responsibility and be held accountable for their actions, past, present,and future, their foundation of change will be hampered, and they will quickly fall into old habits and patterns of behavior.

Here lies the driving force of the Ministry. The personal relationship between each resident and our Lord Jesus Christ. The guidance of the Holy Bible in combination with solid Christian study and fellowship, the true miracles of change begin to bare fruit.
PROCLAIM YOUR FAITH
Peace at Last provides a comprehensive six month (+) program of change and Spirituality. Personal issues that have plagued our residents throughout their lives are individually addressed. Resources, Counseling, Mentoring and New options in dealing with these issues are probed, studied, and healed with the Mercy of God. A combination of Biblical Teachings,Bible Study, Accountability, Drug and Alcohol Recovery, Financial Budgeting,Employment , New Life Management Tools,Anger Management,and Relationships are focused upon, and resolution is found in a loving and caring manner.
