THE PEACE AT LAST PROGRAM

IT ALL STARTS HERE
The program At Peace At Last Ministry consists of accountability,rules,chores,personal growth,and a 4 Tiered Level System to monitor their growth. Combined with sound Biblical instruction,love,guidance, and fellowship, the men are transformed into responsible,productive and loving Christians and citizens, that are ready to continue their walk of faith and growth. PEACE AT LAST LEVELS
LEVEL ONE (30-60 days)
1. 4 meetings every week: AA, bible study and/or
church.
2. Must get an AA sponsor and/or a church mentor.
3. A day pass is as approved by staff. (This pass is only
for visiting
family,
shopping, etc.)
4. The client may only leave the premises with someone on
level two and/or staff approval to attend these
meetings:
a. Probation/Parole officer, job search, church, or AA/NA
meetings.
b. Curfew for first 30 days is 8:00pm
5. Clients may have visitors at the set times or staff
approval.
6. Client must meet with counselor once a week about job
status until employed.
7. Client must complete all assignments required by
staff.
a. Addictions 1
b. Steps 1, 2 & 3 from AA/NA or Celebrate Recovery.
c. Identify problem and steps to change the problem
d. Must have a realistic budget
8. Client will not take on any financial indebtedness
without approval from staff.
9. Client must not buy, lease or borrow any means of
transportation without staff approval.
10. If client is approved to drive,then he will be
required to give a copy of drivers license and proof
of car insurance.
11. Client must be current on rent, paying weekly or
however paycheck is received or cannot move up to next
level.
12. Must document 2 to 3 hours service work.
To graduate to next level, client must follow all rules at least 30 days; discuss level change in house meeting and be reviewed by house and staff. (Staff can override house decision!)
Level Two --------(30-120 days)
1. Client may have an overnight pass with group and staff
approval; this pass must be asked for by Monday night
group, for the following weekend. Pass must be in
writing signed by staff.
2. Client must have permanent AA/NA sponsor/ church
mentor.
3. Client must follow all the rules to the best of his
ability and complete all chores.
4. Client has the freedom to go out during the day without
supervision as long as he signs in and out.
5. Client will not take on any financial indebtedness
without staff approval.
6. Client will not lease, buy or borrow any means of
transportation without staff approval. In addition,
staff must also approve driving privileges.
7. If client is approved to drive, then he will be
required to give a copy of drivers license and proof
of car insurance.
8. Client may be demoted to the previous level if he lets
his rent get behind by two weeks.
9. Client must be grounded in a church and a bible study.
10. Client must have written work finished:
a. Addictions 2 & 3
b. Steps 4 & 5 AA/NA or Celebrate Recovery.
c. Specific short-term goals
11. Client must be current on rent, paying weekly or however paycheck is received or cannot move up to next level.
To graduate to the third level; the client has to bring it to the house meeting and be approved by the house, also staff. Client may also be demoted to the previous level if staff and the house feel he is not doing what he us supposed to be doing.
Level Three --------(120 days & over)
1. Client may get a weekend pass with house and staff
approval must be turned in at the Monday night
house meeting to be approved for the following
weekend.
2. Client may have a TV in the room.
3. Client must go to four (4) AA/NA meetings, church, and/or Bible study per week or what staff recommends.
4. Well connected in personal ministry and be going on a regular basis to an accountability group.
5. Client must have written work finished:
b. Addiction 4
c. Steps 6 & 7 AA/NA or Celebrate Recovery.
6. Client must be current on rent, paying weekly or however paycheck is received or cannot move up to next level.
7. Client may be demoted to the previous level if he lets
his rent get behind by two weeks.
Level Four - Exit Plan
1. Client must have an exit plan consisting of:
a. A budget for apartment rent, household cost, utilities, travel and recreation.
b. A savings and tithing commitment.
c. Must bring in change of address card from the post office. RESIDENTS MAY BE DISMISSED IMMEDEIATELY WITHOUT NOTICE FOR THE FOLLOWING INFRACTIONS
1. ALCOHOL OR DRUG USE
2. ASSAULTS OR FIGHTING
3. CURFEW VIOLATIONS
4. THEFT OF PROPERTY
5. BEHAVIORAL ISSUES THAT EFFECT THE SPIRITUALITY OF THE HOUSES
