At our very first meeting we all got the calendar and made plans for several months. We then had refreshments and enjoyed just getting to know each other.
We had a candle light ceremony for the girls to officially become RED and PINK HATTERS! We said the pledge and they were presented with their bottles of bubbles and kazoos.
March birthdays we ate at the Mexican restaurant and played happy birthday on our kazoos. Marie got happy birthday sung to her as she wore the sombrero by the waiters.
April gathering we had BINGO!
We all had fun and everyone brought finger food and small gifts for bingo prizes. It was a fun time together. Nowlin was in the hospital so we played a card for her and carried her gifts to the hospital to her.
May gathering we went to the Renaissance Festival. We had a wonderful time, and you should have seen the Queen ride the camel. lol

We had the tour of the castle too. The costumes, the jousting, music, food and the fenders were all enjoyed.
June we had a night planned for Tunica but several ladies were on vacation with family so we canceled. But we had a wonderful gathering couple weeks later at a local restaurant.
July we went to Falcon Rest Manor and toured then at lunch in tea room, then visited the gift shop. We enjoyed the beautiful mansion and garden. Although the ghost of Clay Flaukner is still at the manor, we did not met with him. Frankly, I am glad!.
Also for July we enjoyed everyones company at the Mexican restaurant.
August we celebrated Countess Perky Punk's birthday at the Mexican restuarant!! Nowlin is a happy 83, and looking good. We also celebrated for that was her firt outing with the red hatters since her brain tumor surgery!!
September we traveled to Manchester to the German restuarant. Had very filling lunch and then off to Beans Creek Winery. Of course we had to taste the different wines!!!
November we took off to Rippavilla in Spring Hill and had a very good history lesson and a very nice tour. Then off to the Square Market Cafe. It was a wonderful place to eat and we really enjoyed and had a very good time.
