Radio controlled model sailboating is an ideal hobby and is one that is actively pursued as a sport by a large following of enthusiast both in the US and other countries. The American Model Yacht Association, AMYA, is the national organization formed specifically to foster and support the hobby/sport of model yachting in the United States. As such, it provides a wealth of invaluable information to both it's members and those expressing an interst in the sport. So weather you are considering building a model boat or buying a ready-to-sail one, interested in competitive racing or just sailing your boat, The AMYA is the place to start gatheting information.
