There are numerous benefits to being an active member of a local unit, state association, and national association dedicated to the study of parliamentary procedure. Some of the benefits include continuing education in parliamentary procedure; networking with other parliamentarians; and improving presider, teacher, opinion writer, script preparation, leadership, and other parliamentarian-related skills. Tennessee Association of Parliamentarian members are regularly involved in the following activities:
