The Tennessee Association of Parliamentarians currently has five active units across the state. The unit names are Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. These units provide an opportunity for members of the National Association of Parliamentarians to develop their expertise on effective meeting procedures through a combination of group study, discussion, and practice.
While individual study can be very effective in gaining parliamentary knowledge, many members find it invaluable to have the experience of presiding over meetings, taking minutes, delivering financial reports, and preparing a bylaws revision in a supportive learning atmosphere before they need to perform these duties for another organization to which they belong. NAP units provide this opportunity, as well as the benefit of discussing challenging meeting situations with experienced parliamentarians who can help formulate solutions. Following is some brief information about each unit:
ALPHA Unit (Knoxville)

DELTA Unit (Nashville)
