Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

 

Dear Scouts, Parents & Troop Leaders,

 

Here is the list of Scouts, Parents, and Troop Leaders that have volunteered to sell tickets at First Baptist Concord this Sunday, distribute flyers At local hotels and work at the Pancake Fundraising Breakfast on 3/8/08 at the Texas Roadhouse at Turkey Creek.  We are up to 17 scouts and adults signed up to serve at the breakfastWe must have a minimum of 15 volunteers to help serve at Texas Roadhouse on the morning of the breakfast.  If you have signed up to do this, please make sure you honor your commitment and let me or one of the adult leaders know if you will not be able to make it there. This is the policy of Texas Roadhouse. Also if I have you down in one of the columns below by mistake please let me know via e-mail as soon as possible.

Selling Tickets at FB Concord – March 2nd

The times for worship at FB Concord are:

            9:30 am  First Service

          11:00 am  Second Service

Everyone who is available to sell must be at the church sanctuary around 8:45 and no later than 9:00 AM.  All scouts must wear class ‘A’ uniforms.

 The scouts can sell tickets before the first worship service, between the worship service, and after the second worship service.  If you cannot stay for both hours that will be OK. If you can work any that morning you will be given one service point.

Farragut Annual Report Fundraiser

Description:

Scouts sign up to distribute reports. There is a task window of two weekends and one week per instructions from the
City of Farragut.

Time required: Parents are required to drive their kids on this fund raiser due to BSA insurance coverage requirements.
  • 1 to 2 hours to stuff plastic bags
  • 1 hour to distribute
    Effort required:

    Sign up to distribute reports on BSA meetings on Jan 21 and Jan 28 This is the only time to sign up!!!

    Rick Jones will pick up the reports from the City on Jan 31st from (4-6)

    Scouts will pick up packages (contacts plastics slips, flyers, reports, and their map) from Myra Rose on Feb 2nd between hours of 9-10 am at Scout House. If this is not convenient for your family, please make arrangements with me but all reports must be picked up no later than 5pm on Feb 2nd.
    • 1. Correct completion of the task
    • 2. Return all unused materials to Myra Rose


    Task Instructions:

    Each Scout is required to stuff their plastic bags with each of the separate items, and deliver their reports. Do not wait till the last minute for deliveries in case you need additional materials to complete your assigned area

    Reports MUST only be delivered by placing on the Front door or in the Newspaper Box ONLY.

    No reports are to be attached to the Mail Box or thrown in the lawn. City will do a spot check and if any of our neighborhoods have reports in the lawn we LOSE the whole amount we could earn and also are off their list for this function for future years.

    Return all extra reports to Myra on Feb 10th. Please call her to make arrangements to meet. Ms. Rose must have the extras no later than 5pm on Sunday Feb 10th.
