Welcome the Twin Cities chapter of Attachment Parenting! There is some information here, but the main website to our community and all our activities is our Facebook group

Our mission is to educate and support all parents in raising secure, joyful, and empathetic children in order to strengthen families and create a more compassionate world. We promote parenting practices that create strong, healthy emotional bonds between children and their parents. Children can take those bonds with them into their adult lives and share them with their children. Their children can do the same, and a life cycle of compassion and connection is created.

The 8 Principles of Attachment Parenting

1. Prepare for Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenting
2. Feed with Love and Respect
3. Respond with Sensitivity
4. Use Nurturing Touch
5. Engage in Nighttime Parenting
6. Provide Consistent and Loving Care
7. Practice Positive Discipline
8. Strive for Balance in Personal and Family Life

Mom's Night Out:

Our Goal

The goal of Twin Cities Attachment Parenting is to provide a supportive environment for parents interested in and/or practicing the elements of Attachment Parenting. Support groups provide a means of learning attachment parenting, a place to share ideas and ongoing child rearing concerns, and a safe haven where parents can communicate openly about their choices. We are open to all families interested in AP.
