Abilene Branch Academic Scholarship


2008 Abilene Branch Scholarship Recipients

The Abilene Branch of AAUW awards five academic scholarship each spring to women returning to education. Four Maude King and Celina Torres-Fennell undergraduate scholarships are awarded to women currently attending college in Abilene. We award one scholarship for each of the four Universities / Colleges (ACU, HSU, McMurry and Cisco Jr. College, Abilene Campus). The Jewel Davis Scarborough Graduate Scholarship is awarded to one woman attending Graduate School at any of Abilene's Universities. Scholarship applications will be accepted from February 1, 2009 through April 1, 2009.
