AHUMC Sojourners Class 2008

SOJOURN: To stay for a time in a place; a temporary stay.

Sundays 9:30-10:30 AM; East Building # 253

Who Are the Sojourners? The Sojourners Class consists of couples in their 30's - 40's. Our members are friends both inside and outside the church. Many of us have children in the same general age group, and we strive to bring them up in Christian homes. We work on missions projects as a class. Socially, we have dinners, parties and retreats. We meet between services each Sunday at 9:30 to grow in our faith and our fellowship with each other by examining the issues of the day with an eye towards the primacy of scripture, church tradition, personal experience and reason. Please join us!

July 18: Presbyterian Night Shelter Volunteers Needed from 3:45-6:30

August (Date TBD): Saturday morning volunteer work at Northside InterChurch Agency (NICA).

August 15: Presbyterian Night Shelter Volunteers Needed from 3:45-6:30

September: Missions Collection Sunday

September 14th: Great Day of Service (500 service hour goal)
