Last year the Public Relations Committee-Department of Texas announced they would begin give scholarships. Information and application can be found in the "Downloadable Files" section. Basic Information: Applicants do not have to be a member of the American Legion Family (but would be good if they were). The shall be a child or grandchild of a Military Veteran who served during the elegibility dates for membership in the American Legion. They must be majoring in some type of Public Relations or Journalism. There will be at least ($500.00) scholarship awarded each year.
