The following links are provided for kids and several of the sites provide even more links to kids pages:

Kids.US is the internet domain for safe kids educational and fun sites on which content is strictly monitored.

America's Library is the Library of Congress' website of kids.

FirstGov for Kids is the U.S. Government's interagency Kids portal.

Awesome Library "organizes the Web with 30,000 carefully reviewed resources, including the top 5 percent in education."

PBSKids is PBS's site for kids.

Smithsonian Education's Students is the Smithsonian's kids page for exploring its collection.

National Geographic Kids is the National Geographic's kids page.

KidsClick! is a "web search for kids by librarians".

KidSpace and TeenSpace are IPLs spaces for minors and teenagers. The IPL is "a public service organization and learning/teaching environment at The University of Michigan School of Information."

Multnomah County Library Homework Center provides links to resources that will be helpful with homework.

Great Websites for Kids is the American Library Association and Association for Library Service to Children's website of kids links.

HomeworkSpot is "a homework resource center developed by educators, students, parents and journalist."

Wired for Youth is an Austin based library program.

The Texshare Databases have several databases that are useful to help with homework. The Texshare Databases are a state program and are only available to Texas library cardholders whose libraries take part in the program. To find out more about TexShare, the databases and what libraries participate in the program go to The Texshare website. Alvord cardholders please check with the librarian in person at the library to find out about the login information. Thank you.

Library allows you to search Texas library catalogs, and if you login with your library's Texshare login, you can also search the Texshare Databases at the same time.
