Next monthly get-together...

Our next meeting will be on January 21, 2012. Even if you don't want to attend meetings, you can donate blankies! Check out our list of places you can drop off blankets around town.

We currently most need infant and teen-sized blankets. One layer fleece blankets of 1½ to 2 yards of fleece finished at the edges are quick & easy for teens!

In 2010, we gave away over 1700 blankets!

These are the organizations that regularly receive Project Linus blankets from Project Linus of Williamson/Travis/Hays Counties, Texas.

Keep in mind that this list does not cover the situations that occur at the family level. Should a child experience pain and confusion as a result of divorce, a serious illness, abuse, fire, accident, etc. then they are eligible for a blanket as well. As soon as one of our coordinators receives a call from a concerned friend or relative, she makes sure a blanket is delivered to the child as soon as possible.

Here's a list of the agencies to which we gave blankets in 2010.

  • Agape Pregnancy Center, Round Rock
  • Dell Children's Medical Center
  • Flying Vikings
  • Foster families
  • Hope Alliance (Shelter) Round Rock
  • Infant Parent Program, Austin (children up to 3 yrs.)
  • Kidtherapy Rehabilitation Center
  • Lakeway Police Dept.
  • March of Dimes
  • Marywood
  • Ronald McDonald House
