Volunteer Meeting Schedule
The North group routinely meets on the second Saturday of each month (in September on the 8th here) beginning at 10AM. The South group will meet on September 15th at the Manachaca Baptist Church, as usual.

We are happy to give blankets if you know of a need. Contact Chapter Coordinator, Brenda
.
Where we meet in Central Texas (all chapters listed).

Even if you don't want to attend meetings, you can donate blankies! Check out our list of places you can drop off blankets.

We most need large blankets. For an easy large blanket, one layer fleece blankets of 1Ĺ to 2 yards of fleece finished at the edges are quick & easy (Here's how! downloadable Adobe PDF guidelines). Since these usually go to older kids, please choose age-appropriate prints and colors. And, since this is Texas, after all, we prefer single layer blankets without knotted fringe.

As a nerdy exercise, we tallied up some numbers to quantify what we accomplish. Good grief! No one in this outfit gets paid. VOLUNTEERS COVER SOME TERRITORY. Way to go, blanketeers!
