MEMBERSHIP

Active Members: shall be a woman who is employed as a professional educator or has been retired from an educational position. An active member shall participate in the activities of the Society.

Reserve Members: shall be formerly active members who are retired from educational work and who are unable to participate fully in the activities of the chapter because of physical disability, geographical location, or other reasons acceptable to the chapter. A reserve member, so requesting, may be restored to her former membership status by a majority vote of the chapter.

Honorary Members: shall be women not eligible for active membership who have rendered notable service to education or to women and are elected to honorary membership in recognition of such service. They shall be privileged to participate in all activities except that of holding of office.

All dues and fees shall be paid between July 1 and October 31 of each year. On November 1, members shall be dropped for non-payment of dues and fees.
