THE P.A.C.E. AWARD
The Presidential Award for Chapter Excellence (PACE) Award was first given in 1983. This award is given in recognition of outstanding performance in all facets of Delta Kappa Gamma work bythe Alpha State President. The president weighs many factors in her selection of chapters to receive this award. Some of these factors include all reports submitted on time, programs following the International Programs theme (planned and presented as a team effort), community project, application for "Annie Award" submitted and attendance at monthly meetings and all conventions and workshops. Also considered are financial assistance to attend conventions, chapter growth, yearbook, newsletters and money given to support scholarships and funds. Beta Eta received the PACE Award in 1993, 1994,1996,1997,1999,2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006,2007,2008, 2009,2010 and 2011. This year we also received recognition for the Beta Eta website.
