JESSE DOUGLAS "J.D." ROBINSON
JD was born July 29, 1989. He went on to Glory to be with the Lord on September 18, 2004.
Though we cannot see you, kiss you, or hug you, we will always feel your spirit in our hearts. You are surely missed and yet loved so much.

JD had been diagnosed by the doctors to have congenital heart disease. The doctors said he needed a heart and lung transplant. All he wanted was to enjoy life to the fullest. Though his time on this earth was very short, he endured the challenges of life without a complaint. Every day a struggle, every day a smile.
One of JD's greatest dreams was to meet Allen Iverson, but that was not made possible. His love for basketball inspired him to begin writing a book/movie which was not completed at the time of his passing...
Though homeschooled, he was an honor student. JD's ambition was to become a pilot. He flew a plane in 1998 in Tyler, Texas. Thank you Mr. Randy Stevenson at Tyler International Aviation for inspiring that dream.
A special thank you to Dr. Lee Ann Pearse, Miriam, and Tracey for making JD life as wonderful as possible with all the encouragement inspiration and most of all love you shown JD. Also thank you Lisa for your efforts to make JD's dream a reality although he didn't get the opporutnity to fulfill it.....
Jesse Douglas "J.D."Robinson
This is Jesse Douglas "J.D." Robinson. He was born on July 29, 1989. He is named after his Granddaddy - the late Apostle Jesse Douglas "J.D." Hamilton, Sr. At two months old, his mother took him in for a regular check up and from there he was rushed to Children's Medical Center at Dallas by EMT. There he was diagnosed by the doctors with congenital heart disease. On Octber 2, 1989 he had a major surgery to correct a narrow artery.
In October 1997, the doctors said he needed a heart and lung transplant. The doctor also told his parents to look for him to go at any time. His chances of getting it are very very slim. The doctors say because of his chance of survival and condition that they have diagnosed.
JD was homeschooled. He loved listening to music. He liked Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, and Tonex. He also loved to listen to Lil' Bow Wow. His favorite show on TV was Basketball and WWE Wrestling. His favorite basketball player is Allen Iverson and favorite pro wrestler is Kurt Angle!
JD's family is very close. He has 2 sisters and 1 brother. He was an excellent drummer and wanted to learn how play a bass guitar.
