We are a unique church in that our organization is based on primarily the home/house type of church. House type churches are based on the New Testament model of small congregations normally meeting in someone�s home rather than an official church building. We are independent and not affiliated with the denominations: Churches of Christ, or the International Churches of Christ. Usually a house church will have up to around 20 members, and if it grows larger than that they merely start another house church. This almost eliminates overhead expenses of a paid staff and building expenses which consume the large majority of most church incomes. Studies show that only about 2.1% of church income goes into winning the lost through foreign missions. This is unacceptable, and the house church because it is almost void of these costly overhead expenses, can direct its offerings into the spreading of the Gospel which is what the church is supposed to be doing.

That's exactly what we and our affiliates are doing with this ministry in the U.S., and in foreign nations and with our outreach: Brazil and Beyond Ministries. (See the menu link to the left).

In the picture above, we took church right into a hospital and preached the Good News of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and then prayed for this little girl who had an operation for water on the brain.

There was a time when sinners would come to the church to be saved, but things have changed and sinners are staying away from churches in droves. Therefore, here at Christ International Church of Evangelism we have taken the concept of the house church a step further in that we take the church to where ever there are people who are hurting or want to grow in the things of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We hold services in different people�s houses as the opportunity arises, in conventional churches when invited, or we go to jails, shelters, and overseas where our focus is on Brazil. If there is someone who wants to hear the Gospel preached and the Word of God taught, we make every effort to go there.

Once you recognize we all have the nature to do wrong, it's not easy to understand we need salvation. We inherited that nature from Adam who first sinned.

God wants us back, but a price for reconciliation had to be paid. Sin was brought into the world by a man, and had to be taken out by a man who was willing and able to pay the price. Since no human was sinless and capable of doing that, God took a portion of himself known as the Word of God, and became flesh and lived among us.

That was Christ Jesus the Son of God (the promised Anointed One) who came in the flesh as a sinless man, and was capable of paying the price to get us out of this mess. The price wasn't cheap. He had to be tempted to sin yet not yield to it, to suffer a horrible death on the cross, take the entire world's sin on himself, and be plunged into hell for three days and nights before God the Father could allow him to be raised from the dead.

That paid the price for sin, but it's not automatic. We have to receive it. Paul tells us in Rm. 10:9 that it is with the mouth we confess and the heart be believe. So if from the heart you will pray out loud to God repenting of your sins, receive Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior, and believe God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

What happens then is the Spirit of God actually enters you and makes your spirit man brand new with the nature of God in it. However, your flesh and mind have not been renewed, which can only be done by getting massive amounts of the Word of God in you. It changes your thinking and when this happens, your actions will begin to change too. Now you are growing up by studying and applying the Bible which will make your spirit man stronger so it can rule over the corrupt flesh and mental process. Yes, you can do it!

Find yourself a Bible believing church that believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, get baptized, and start growing and watch as God makes the changes in you. Begin to share with others what happened to you.
