Here is Brother Paul, a key leader in our organization, with his mom whom the doctors said couldn't live. However, we placed her name on the site for prayer and here she is - completely healed. The doctors were amazed.

The greatest benefit to affiliation is to share prayer requests as long as we are truly believing God will deliver on his promises. If you have prayer requests please send them to us along with scriptures you are standing on for the answer. Please all affiliates, participate in this very important aspect of our fellowship. Send in your prayer requests and also be sure to pray for the needs of others that we post here. Corporate prayer done in faith and based upon scripture is extremely powerful.

Pastors and all affiliates please catch the vision "Every Christian a Soul Winner." If we train all our new converts and older members as well to each be a soul winner, the gospel will easily be spread all across the globe. The problem now all over the world is that it is only a few members who are doing all the soul winning. We will win when we can get every Christian to participate.

The contest in 2009 was to show you how easy it is to win the lost as long as our focus as a church remains on the Great Commission. In next year's contest (celebration) we will revise the rules slightly to zero in better on every Christian a soul winner. More on that later, but right now I'd like for you to look with your mind into the heart of God. The heart of God is for souls. He has a vision for bringing lost souls into the Kingdom, and he wants to share that vision with you.

CATCH THE VISION - EVERY CHRISTIAN A SOUL WINNER

Did you ever stop to think what would happen if every Christian was serious abut leading someone else to the Lord? Well, that's exactly what happened in early church history. The entire focus of the church (the people) was to win the lost to Christ and save them from a devil's hell. Nothing else mattered. Consequently, the message spread like wildfire and Christianity was rapidly preached in all the known civilized world at that time.

How marvelous that was, but God promised even greater things when he said from the book of Joel in the last days he would bring the former rain and the latter rain together and pour out his Spirit on all flesh. We have been seeing a sample of this during the contest. Everyone was in one mind and one accord to go out and win the lost. We have had reports of many many signs, wonders, and miracles, following the preaching of the Word; with over 3,000 souls coming to Christ. This has happened with just 5 small affiliates.

But, if you will catch the vision of Every Christian a Soul Winner, you will see how we can do even much more than this! To illustrate, let me tell you a story. In this country we once had a president named Jimmy Carter. He was a nice man, but he wanted to be involved in every decision which was impossible for him to do. To complicate matters he appointed people with big egos to important positions in government - people who were interested in promoting themselves more than putting the mission of good government first. His administration struggled just to get organized for the first half of his term.

After him a man named Ronald Regan was president. His outlook was much different. Instead of him wanting to be involved in all the decisions, he made it a point to put competent people who were team players, into the responsible positions of government, and then leave them alone to do the job. Of course, he would check once in awhile to see that everything was on track.

The outcome of these two different styles was that the Regan administration was much more effective in getting things done than the Carter administration. We need to take a lesson from this and extend it to soul winning. The leaders of our churches should not be doing all the work in winning the lost. Every Christian needs to be trained to be a soul winner. If only the pastor is winning the lost, what happens to soul winning if he gets sick, or has to go out of town on an emergency, etc? The answer to that is simple - nothing happens. Everything just stops.

Contrast this to the church where the leadership has been divided into groups and sub-groups with emphasis on teaching every Christian to be a soul winner. If the pastor has to take care of something in another place, the work of the church and soul winning goes on unhindered.

So what we need is a hierarchy of responsible people to assist the pastor in leadership, and to lead various groups in your congregations training everyone in soul winning. For example, you might have a youth group, a ladies group, and elderly persons group, an on fire teenagers group, a group of new Christians going with mentors to witness, practice sessions of witnessing, etc. Pastors work very hard and if they have to do all the work they will eventually burn out, become discouraged, and the people will begin to lose the vision for what they are called to do - win the lost to Christ. They will become merely spectators.

Unfortunately, here in the U.S. this is often the case. People have become spectators. They want to be entertained at church, not involved. Consequently, we have a terrible record for soul winning. Studies have shown in this country only 2% of the people in any congregation win anyone to the Lord. This is disgusting.

Having a mind set for Every Christian a Soul Winner has other advantages than giving pastors relief, spreading responsibility, and involving the whole congregation. It causes people to become in one mind and one accord. Thus the little clicks (groups forming in the church with the exclusion of others) are prevented, no one has time or focus for gossip, and a spirit of joy, enthusiasm, and unity of purpose permeates the church. And best of all, it is in that atmosphere the Holy Spirit will show up with signs, wonders, and miracles. A dead church is one where the program is all man made and there is a dreadful absence of the move of the Lord.

Are you beginning to catch the vision now? With every person committed to being a soul winner, the Gospel will spread like wildfire across Africa and Asia and finally the whole earth, just as it did in the early church. Instead of one pastor from a church spreading the word of God, there will be hundreds of members doing the same. The numbers of saved people will become like an unstoppable tidal wave inundating the land.

This is the vision the Lord has given me. Can you see it: can you catch it and see others grasping it as it advances to the uttermost ends of the earth?

See yourself being a part of it and causing your enthusiasm to flow into the lives of others in your church, and for your optimism to convince them they really can tell others about Christ and lead them to salvation and not be afraid to do it. The beauty of training every Christian to be soul winner is that once they get past the fear stage, and actually go out and win two or three people to Christ, they become strongly committed to it and can't stop. It will endure; they will become stronger Christians and soul winning leaders.

I believe you affiliates are vanguards (someone who goes out before the others) who will lead the way and demonstrate how focusing on Every Christian a Soul Winner will be the final thrust of salvation to the uttermost ends of the earth. People all over the world will be asking: "How is this happening; how are they doing this?" You can respond, "It's quite simple; we train all of our new converts to focus on winning lost people to Christ. At our church, every Christian is a soul winner."

Just a dream you say? Not at all. Even from a practical standpoint, statistics will clearly show that 100 people in a congregation all focused on winning the lost can make a much bigger impact than just one pastor or lay person.

There is no greater time to be alive on the earth than now. The harvest of billions of people is ripe for the picking. That alone is a sign of the end times. Catch the vision - Every Christian a Soul Winner. Be a part of God's final sweep across the globe as he goes before you making the crooked places straight. He will prepare for you a soul winner's crown while working through you with signs, wonders, and miracles as you bring in the final harvest.

Exciting Reports of what the Lord did in the 2009 contest.

The first report we have received during the contest was from sister Sarah and the church that meets with her. She explained the Lord was doing great things in their midst, and many new souls have been added to the kingdom through their witnessing. She also said they had been praying for the sick and many people have been healed! In her own words, "It's awesome what God can do; I wish you were here to witness it."

Oh yes, we wish we could be there also, but in God's timing he will make the way possible. She also indicated they had taken some pictures, but it will take time to get them developed, scanned and emailed to us. We'll post them when she sends them. Thank you sister Sarah and your group for serving the Lord so faithfully, and going to the sacrifice of making pictures available when you live so far from a major city and have to rent a computer.

We might add that this group started with one congregation which suffered many trials to get started in the true Christian walk. But now they are on the right track and have a great zeal for winning the lost. They started with 26 members in January of this year when they joined our affiliation, and the number is now over 120. I'm not sure how many were won during the contest, but this is an impressive number for such a short period of time!

Brother Tony and his congregation was next to report to us what the Lord is doing. The first picture below was from one of brother Tony's crusades where many unbelievers came to salvation, sick people were healed, and those involved in witchcraft gave up their activities.

This is the crusade where signs, wonders, and miracles, followed the preaching of the word.

In one instance a young woman had been struck dumb by the devil and couldn't talk for six months. When they laid hands on her and prayed she began rapidly rolling her eyes, muttering under her breath, gave a shrill cry and threw up her hands in surrender. Then she fell to the ground shouting, "Jesus wants me." She then fainted and upon recovery told how she felt something heavy jump on her heart and went out through her head. The demon was gone and she was totally delivered. Later they baptized her and several others who got saved. Praise the Lord!

The next picture was either in their home church or in a hall they rented for prayer. The Lord was faithful with signs, wonders, and miracles there also. In one case a witch brought her "tools of the trade" with her, confessed to the Lord her sins and was saved. Later they burned all those items. And here is the marvelous thing: Her salvation moved her neighbors to confess their sins too and they also got saved.

Here they are all in one accord and hungry for the move of God. They weren't disappointed.

Thank you brother Tony for your report, and for continuing to be faithful to do God's work. We are continuing to hold you up in prayer and join you in the good fight of faith.

Reporting exciting news today was the church that meets with sister Elizabeth They have been holding "Bold Adventure Rallies" (I like that terminology) with all in agreement of planting churches. They travel much distance in the mornings to help new converts with prayer and Bible studies. Women's groups are meeting three times a week to find new ways of helping new congregations, and youths are gathering for Christ two times a week.

They have sacrificed time and funds for this crusade of "Every Christian a Soul Winner" and pastors and evangelists have spent many sleepless nights giving Bible studies to villagers. I won't report the number of salvations yet since the contest is not over. However, suffice to say this group started with 4 congregations when they joined us the latter part of December or the first part of January of this year. They now have 10 congregations! Not only should we say, "Look what the Lord has done," but look what his "co=laborers" have done as well.

Not only that but they have taken in 5 orphan children and have started one kindergarten school of 37 children. Sister Elizabeth said she would email pictures as soon as they become available. I can hardly wait!

5/28/09

Sister Elizabeth reports again that the Lord continues to move mightily among the people. A team of 40 young people are moving into towns, villages, schools, and markets preaching the gospel! They have formed follow up discipleship programs for neighborhoods with Bible studies and prayer groups. Salvations and membership continue to grow. They have set goals to launch 12 new house churches to meet the need of all the new converts!

To the left new converts are being water baptized outside for everyone to see -like it should be done, and to the right is a lesson for us all in how to worship the Lord and praise Him. Thank you sister Elizabeth for sending these pictures. They have encouraged and blessed all of us.

My dear Brother John Baker,

Amulti-faceted Evangelistic effort throught Kisii Highland netted glorious results with 230 individuals baptized in just one year. The first Phase of the Program began with hundreds studying your website with our friends and neighbours. More than 500 crammed into the hall 700 capacity the final sunday of the series.

This is awesome! we have never seen anything like this before. Most of the people travelled very long distance to attend the meetings, especially the sunday program. Many arrived at 6 a.m for the 8. a.m program. They brought their chairs ans stayed all day.

There has never been a time when the Kisii people of Kenya have been more open to receiving the real gospel than now. Many were weeping as they came.

April 7, 2009 We had crusade and experienced the most powerful meeting of my life. Our senior Pastor confirmed that over 500 people repented and there were very many Testimonies of miracles of healing. But on the Sunday the power of God fell in anew way. While Pastor still speaking, a crippled man stood to his feet under the Power of God, his stick fell to the ground, he called him to walk forward - he came !

Then he called others who were crippled and unable to walk, to step forward in faith and bring their crutches to the platform. Many were instantly healed and crowded into the platform, throwing their crutches in a heap.

On the last night over 200 crowded the rented Hall as Pastor challenged the young people to dedicate their lives to Christ as he had done at their age. As the Holy Spirit fire fell, the young people dropped to their knees in the dirt and weeping before the Lord is Moving in Kisii Highland.

We are continuing the work we plan that there will be 8 churches in 10 Districts. The total number of churches in our region will reach 13.

The great spiritual hunger of people in Kisii kenya is graphically demonstrated in the huge crowd's deep interest. It is impossible to describe what is happening here. It seems that the Holy Spirit is being poured out in latter-day strength in this part of Kenya. Minibuses. taxes, Motorcycles, and etc. along with those who walked, brought this massive audience together to hear the good News of Jesus Christ.

We climb mountains, we walk for miles under the heat of the sun. We travel in the rain, and we cross rivers in search of souls for the kingdom. We have no cars. We use our feet and occasionally hired motorcycles and land rovers. We go where even cars cannot go . We do this because we Love our Lord and want Him to come.

We are in total war against sin and the devil. It is time to plead with God for the power of the Holy Spirit. It is time to light the fire of total evangelism around our Districts and Villages, Cities, Schools and Markets. The Outpouring of The SPIRIT: Now is the time for all us:_ to launch out and tell men and women that the coming King is at the door.

Word is quickly spreading that revival fire is being poured ;out and that the church is experiencing unusual services. People are beginning to travel from other districts or regions to partake. Prayer created such hunger for God to move that God responded.

This is pastor Asher praying for a lady in Shorkot. We don't know for sure if she is receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit, or is receiving hands being laid on her in faith for healing, but we can sure see the intensity on the face of Pastor Asher. The devil is in big trouble!

This is another evangelisitc meeting. They have been reaching a lot of people in a predominately muslim country! The brothers traveled all the way to Sahiwal in a van to share the Gospel.

After we get the report on the number of salvations and the base number for his congregations, we are going to ask him how he and his people are able to bring the gospel to so many people in only a month. We can all learn from his experience.

I have discovered these great websites where you can download great Bible study material for free. I've checked these sites carefully and find them to be right on target and biblically correct.

This is the site of our mentor for jail ministry, brother Sonny Buckingham. He has arranged easy to follow Bible study plans that help new converts look things up in the Bible by subject matter. It's not only for beginners though, because those needing specific scriptures of a subject can use it in preparing sermons or Bible study classes. It's a great site for research. Check it out.
