I(Sally) know a lot about archery! I've been doing it for 5 years now.I go to Barnsley A.C and the junior squad as well. Did you know that we don't call the gold the bullseye? Anyway, there are 4 types of archery. These are clout, flight, field and target. Target is the most common and you'll probably know about that one already. Personaly, i'm not a big fan of target archery. I think it is a bit boring actually. Clout is when you shoot long distance at a brightly coloured flag. You could imagine it as shooting at a target laying on the floor really. You shoot from 80 yards up to 180 or 200 yards. You score your arrows using a piece of coloured string which is attached to the flag. Flight is the most simple kind of archery- shoot arrows as far as possible! You tilt your bow at a 45 degree angle and shoot! Then you just mark your furthest arrow. It can be boring as you only shoot about two dozen arrows compared to the twelve dozen you shoot at clout. You can try shooting at the markers though! Field is when you shoot at 3d animal targets. I have'nt done field but i reeeeeaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyy want to!

Anyway, our club also does have a gos. We travel to an event like a fair and we let people have a shot at archery! There was one where the army was at, so we let them have a go for free. In return they let us have a go at the laser quest for free. It was really good!
