Upcoming Events Many of our families were not available to attend the picnic on May 30 so we have rescheduled the picnic for Sunday, June 28.
We will have two very special guests at the picnic. Jacob Allam's older brothers Pasha (14) and Vadim (16) will be visiting all the way from Russia. So please join us at the picnic to welcome Pasha and Vadim to Texas.
We will be having the picnic at Little Elm Park since our families had such a great time here last year. We have reserved the covered pavilion from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. DFW FRUA will provide hot dogs and drinks, families are asked to bring a dish to share.
For those of you who were not able to attend last year, Little Elm Park has a beautiful sandy beach on the shores of Lake Lewisville so be sure to bring your beach towels and sunscreen. There is also a playground next to the pavilion for the little ones plus a couple of sand volleyball courts for the big kids to enjoy. The entrance to the park is located at the 800 block of W. Eldorado Parkway/FM720 in the town of Little Elm.
If you plan on attending the picnic please RSVP to Beth Euler at baeuler@gmail.com so we know how may dogs to throw on the grill.

Items for Sale
DFW FRUA maintains a stock of cultural and adoption books, ornaments, jewelry, and candle holders. New inventory is frequently added so it’s a good idea to check the fundraising table regularly. Matryoshka sleep shirts are still available. These shirts are made from 100% luxurious pima cotton, and are sized S (4-6), M (8-10), L (10-12) and XL (12-14). The shirts are priced at $25 each. All proceeds go to fund orphanage support projects. For more information, or if you have any fundraising ideas, please contact Ellen Allam, Orphanage Support Coordinator, at ellen.allam@tx.rr.com.

Membership Information
Members join the national FRUA organization and check the local Dallas/Fort Worth chapter on their application. National FRUA is a completely volunteer-operated support network, 501(c)(3)non-profit organization. Membership funds go to orphanage support, telephone, postage, newsletter publication, and other outreach activities such as this website. If you are interested in joining or wish to receive a one-time
