      Protection Scenarios:

        Scenario #1:
Civil Handler Protection: Description of Exercise: Upon command of the Steward, the Handler will heel their dog onto the field and to the designated starting point. A disgruntal decoy will appear, shouting in an aggressive manner at the K9 team. The handler commands the K9 to guard/aggression mode. The K9 team may not pass the white line. After 10 seconds of civil aggression, the decoy will row/bounce a basketball at the team. The K9 should stay focused on the decoy. The decoy will retreat 10 seconds after rolling the basketball.

        Scenario #2:
Defense of handler (One decoy) Description of Exercise: Upon command of the Steward, the handler will heel their dog onto the field and to the designated starting point. A decoy will be hiding, as you heel pass by the hidden decoy, the decoy will aggressively assault the K9 team. You immediately command your dog to attack. After a sufficient duration of the fight between the Decoy and dog (approximately 8 seconds), the Steward will signal for the Handler to command the dog to release the Decoy. The Handler may either command the dog to return from, or to Guard the Decoy. In either case, recall or guard, the Steward will then signal the Handler to heel the dog to the next exercise.

      Scenario #3: Surprise
