Can you think of the day that we go home?
I am not going to lay out verses of God's Holy word to you.
I pray you do that yourself. What I want is to share
with you an image God placed in me.
Remembering this world is not our home.
I was taken back in my mind to images of wars. From WW1
to WW2, Vietnam and so on. So many people went
to war fighting for freedom.
Looking I can see some leaving
out of fears, some out of lack of faith in the war.
Some are out because they are wounded, dead, lost in action.
And many go home.
As I was taking this path filled with images, feelings, and thoughts.
I knew then what God was showing me.
This world is not our home. We are the army of God.
And through the blood and power of Jesus we are
taking back what satan has stolen. But as we see in the natural
wars we see in the spiritual wars. Some ran out of fear
or lost faith in the cause. Some are wounded and hurt.
Some are prisoners of war, they hold to the faith they
stand for the cause of Righteousness. But yet they are in prison
not able to fight, not able to war. Many have lost hope, worn out
hungry, thirsty, bleeding, cold.
Yet they stand holding on waiting to go home.
I saw this and yes I can say I have lived some of this.
A front line warrior doing all, pushing back the darkness.
Then I heard a voice that would flood your whole being with peace.
Saying, " Time to come home."
Wow! Time to come home.
Now can anyone tell you when the time is? No!
But, Oh wounded, sick, worn-out warriors take a breathe
Time is coming we will go home.
This world we see and all it has is lies.
Money, fame, things mean nothing. It all stays here,
left behind are the waste of a world of sin.
Souls are not meant to be left behind.
The army says something about not ever leaving
one of theirs behind.
God is our leader, our King, He will not
leave not one of His behind.
Be encouraged Warriors of the Cross when you have done all
you know to do then stand. If you are weak and cannot stand
we your brothers and sister will hold you.
For the strong uphold the weak.
We stand in the gap for each other.
And this world will know we are sent because
of the love we have for one another.
Arise Oh Warriors
Arise!
