There is a Holy Spirit, you are not it!

Let us pray that the work of the Holy Spirit may appear in converting our hearts, and that the beauty of holiness may be seen in our conduct.

Strong words? There is a Holy Spirit and you are not it!

What leads a man to know Christ? The works of the Holy Spirit. Who did Jesus send to comfort, teach, guide and fill us? The Holy Spirit!

Look around you today, check yourself see are you trying to do the work of the Holy Spirit?

In the flesh there is just that, Flesh. By games, acts, words, deeds there is much flesh at work.

Oh! dear one in the Spirit there is Love, no games. He knows what you have need of.

May I ask you a question? Have you ever been to a service that when you left you were beat up? Or on the other side of the fence you went and were so happy. You left feeling so great about who you are?

Then may I say you were not in the Presence of God's Spirit at work. God's Spirit will open your eyes to sin and the need of Him. He will show you that Jesus is the son of God. The Spirit will guide you to truth.

This truth will set you free, may not feel so great.

Humble maybe a new word for many, as it was for me. God is not there to beat you up with every mistake we make. He is not here to just say Oh poor thing did not know better. God wants us to want Him and know that we need Him. To be first in our thoughts and in seeking Him for answers. Just maybe you have been in a church all your life. You know the right words and songs. But do you know God? Relationship!

Do we see the Holy Spirit working in our lifes? Does it line up with the word of God? Basic truths, basic learning, basic listening.

Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ask him?

Have you asked God for the Holy Spirit? What is your condition of faith?
