Fall 2008 Display & Sale
FAAVS will host its annual fall plant display
and sale on Oct. 18 - 19, 2008.
There will be African Violets and other Gesneriads on display,
along with plants and growing supplies for sale.
Display & Sale Dates/Times:
Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: Garden Center at Zilker Botanical Garden (see below for address)
We have two active meetings groups, one that meets Wednesday morning in central Austin and a second group that meets Saturday morning in North Austin. See below for details.

Meetings start at 9:30 AM on the fourth Wednesday of each month except November, which is held the third Wednesday due to Thanksgiving, and December, which is held on the first Wednesday of the month and is our semi-annual pot luck lunch. We generally have one field trip per year.
Saturday Meeting Information
First Austin African Violet Society meets at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, the 2nd Saturday of each month, at 10:00am.
