SECRETS OF THE ARTFUL JOURNAL SKETCHBOOK A-Z
Bring your journaling to life in this workshop as you work your way through the alphabet with twenty-six PLUS creative ideas. Participants will fill their pages with a series of explorations:- Pen & Ink
- Pencil
- Watercolor
- Learn tricks and techniques that will
open up a world of possibilities for use in the field or in the studio. - Improve your drawing skills
- Create small compositions and feel the joy of spontaneous color movement on paper.
SAVE $35 when you sign up before March 15. $285 FWCG member; $300 non-member after. $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Full tuition is required April 1, 2012.

Janet Takahashi is a free-lance artist specializing in calligraphy, illustration, book arts, sign graphics and gilding. Her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and intense interest in botany is apparent in the detailed nature art that fills the pages of her journals in progress simultaneously. Janet is an illustrator of books and magazine articles; She teaches calligraphy at Santa Monica College Emeritus and conducts journal sketching workshops “on the trail”. Her first book Artful Journals is in its second printing.
