Q. What are the Goals of this meeting?
A. The Goals of the Meetings include:

1. Breaking the silence: Speaking about your experiences and listening to the experiences of others.
2. Experiencing safety and honesty in a group (confess your faults one with another that you may be get the help you need)
3. Acquiring information and spiritual solutions to begin healing. 4. Grieving losses – dreams, hopes, desires.
5. Sharing experiences to survive the crisis.
6. Redefining yourself, your goals, your path to attaining deliverance from the cycle of substance abuse in a loved one or friend.

Q. What happens during the group?
A. The group follows this “SAMPLE” format:

Meetings will be conducted promptly and will conclude promptly. The Group will be an on-going open group (new members may join the group weekly, and the group will be conducted weekly for an indefinite time period).

Telephone Conference Groups

Q. I wanted to physically go to a group meeting not meet by conference call. Do you have a meeting anywhere else?

A. F.Y.I. A free Family Group meeting can be made available in your area.. Information on forming a group, possible locations, meeting days and times can be discussed. The rules, guidelines, training, and materials will be made available.

There are times when you will need to talk to someone to get feedback on what is going on in your life. You may find yourself hesitant because this could expose you to scrutiny you simply can’t afford to undergo, causing even more stress and seemingly no way out.

Many times you may feel that Substance Abuse, and other emotional and mental health issues can’t even be shared within our own congregations, as our position in our communities would be at risk. Therefore we are unable to share with anyone that which at times seems too heavy to bear.

Seasons Family Groups provide an environment where you may receive the help you need regardless to age, gender, denominational affiliation, race, economic status, geographic location and societal position. Here you will find a safe place to have questions answered and find help for deeply emotional and distressing issues.
