Who we are...
The Greater Houston Youth Leaders are comprised of youth bowlers who show a willingness to share leadership and guidance with their fellow bowlers. Youth Leaders are youth bowlers selected from within their home center to represent not only their center, but their fellow bowlers in making decisions regarding youth bowling on a local, city and State level.

What we do...

Some of the many responsibilities for our Youth Leaders include coordinating and managing tournaments, working sales tables, conducting raffles and much more. Some of our duties include the following:

*500/600 Tournament - Coordinating and hosting this annual tournament with duties ranging from selecting a center to governing the rules.

*Generation Gap and City Tournament are tournaments that allow youth leaders to set up and work sales tables for fundraising efforts.

*Hall of Honor Scholarship/Awards Banquet - youth leaders award scholarship to bowlers who are inducted to the Hall of Honor for service.

*Community Service projects over the years have included collection drives for Toys for Tots; Food Drives; food and supplies for the local SPCA, etc..

When we meet...

Meetings are generally held every month directely following Youth Travel League around 4:30 P.M. Meeting times and locations are communicated through meetings, email, and web-site postings.
Officer and Director elections are in May of each year. Nomination forms are available for distribution in March.
If you would like to receive notice on upcoming meetings, please send us your contact information and we'll keep you in the loop.
