Latest Update: We are still desperately trying to raise money to build our shelter! Our office building has been moved in and the water well was installed. The next step is our septic system. Keep checking back for updates on our shelter.

 
PetSmart Partners 
Happy Tails is now partnering with PetSmart to adopt out dogs we rescue from the City Pound. Check out the pictures on the links to see other dogs available right now.
We currently take our Happy Tails dogs to Petsmart the second Saturday of the month. If you can help with this adoption event, please call Susan at 782-8417
 
Volunteers Needed
We need help walking dogs at the Edna City Pound. Susan Strickland currently goes just about every morning except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Cherie Robinson goes out after work around 5:15pm. If you can help during the morning, call Susan at 782-8417; if you can help in the evenings on Tues. and Thurs., call Cherie at 771-6144.		   We Need Your Help
As a non-profit organization, we are relying totally on donations/pledges to get our organization started. We currently have about $12,000 collected but we will need so much more to build our shelter. Please look into your hearts and help the stray dogs and cats in Jackson County finally have a safe place to be brought to and give them a chance to be adopted by a loving family.
Specific Materials Needed: 6' Hurricane fencing, concrete, pipe for septic systems or water lines.
