ABOUT US
Homeschoolers Hearts and Hugs began in September 2001 as a Homeschool Community Volunteer Program based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Our goals are to provide homeschooling students with character building and learning opportunities while enriching the lives of others and increasing public awareness of the advantages of home education.
We have participated in the Texas State "Adopt-A-Nursing Home" Program, hold food and toy drives, coordinate fundraisers and donation drives for needy community agencies and provide volunteer services.
We also help families who have suffered a disaster such as a house fire, major illness, loss of employment, etc.
We have since expanded to provide mentoring services by offering a helping hand to new homeschoolers as well as those who are considering alternative education for their children.
In addition to our volunteer projects, we coordinate educational field trips and social activities. We also offer reading and other incentive programs. | |||||||||||||||||||||
