Casa Manana, Dallas Symphony Orchestra & Dallas Children's Theater

On this page you will find a brief description of Casa Manana plays, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Children's Theater plays. Homeschoolers Hearts and Hugs members will be attending several of each throughout the 2011-2012 school year.
When signing up for field trips, volunteer activities or social events please include your FULL NAME, contact information and number of adults and children attending, INCLUDING THEIR AGES. It is very important that you RSVP to ensure you are notified in the event an activity has to be rescheduled. Since the majority of our activities require we confirm the number of participants prior to the event, please abide by sign up deadlines.
Homeschoolers Hearts and Hugs members will be attending various Casa Manana plays during the 2011-2012 school year.

SCHEDULED PLAYS REMAINING FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR:
Annie, Sandy, Daddy Warbucks, Miss Hannigan, FDR, Rooster and all those adorable orphans are back in this smash-hit musical. Annie is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage. This family favorite features the classic songs Tomorrow, the Hard Knock Life, and Easy Street. As long as Annie is around, the sun will always come out tomorrow!

DALLAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Homeschoolers Hearts and Hugs members attended the only kid's performance of the 2011-2012 school year at the D.S.O.
The performance, The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, took place November 2, 2011 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.

Homeschoolers Hearts and Hugs members will be attending three performances at the DCT during the 2011-20112 school year.
The
Dallas Children's Theater is located at Rosewood Center for Family Arts, 5938 Skillman, Dallas, TX. 75231. This is close to the 1/2 Price Books on NW Hwy. (near N.Park Mall)
All three performances must be paid in advance (no later than August 10, 2011) so that we can reserve our space. Seats are $8 per person. Lap children (under 3) are free.
