IOWA TEST OF BASIC SKILLS TESTING--LEWISVILLE, TX.

HER Store (Lewisville, TX.) hosts testing using the Iowa Test of Basic Skills & Cognitive Abilities Test (ITBS/CogAT). These tests do not just measure how your child is doing compared to all the other children who take this test. These tests seek to determine if your child's achievement is up to his/her ability. Is she reaching her academic potential at this stage?

Testing fee=$100; includes testing, scores, & score interpretation session (15 minute consultation with Kathy Sikes, M.Ed. to go over the test results with you & answer any questions you might have).

Space is limited. Contact the Lewisville HER Store at 972-956-8320 to register. Payment is due at registration.

If you have questions, call or email Kathy Sikes, M.Ed. at 817.303.9951 or email: kathysikes@sbcglobal.net

ACT PREP CLASSES

The ACT is not only used as a college admissions test, but also for scholarship qualification. This class helps to prepare you to take the ACT by making you aware of the material covered, strategies for taking the ACT, number of questions and format and time constraints, as well as actually working through real problems from sample ACT's in reading, English, science reasoning, and most especially, math. A full-length practice ACT will be given, scored, and any questions answered on the last day of class.

This is a GREAT course for anyone in grades 9-12. The test can be taken more than once, they will accept your best score. Your ACT score can make thousands of dollars difference in scholarship money.

For more info on this class you may call Kathy Sikes, M.Ed. at 817-303-9951, or contact the H.E.R. Store Lewisville (972-956-8320)
