A World Premiere Musical Adventure!

Casa Mañana’s Children’s Playhouse presents the world premiere of an all-new musical based upon the classic tale by Robert Louis Stevenson. Young Jim Hawkins befriends an old pirate named Billy Bones, who has a treasure map. This is just the kind of adventure Jim has dreamed of his entire life. But, the hunt for buried treasure can only mean one thing – Pirates! Set sail on the high seas with this shady crew of matey boys to Treasure Island.

Come and learn what goes on behind the cameras! There are a few spots left if you have not signed up yet. If you have signed up, Jennifer will contact you soon to give you the time of your tour. We are only allowed 15 per tour, so we will have several tour times.

H.I.S. Fall Camp-Out
Where: Ray Roberts Lake State Park - Isle du Bois Unit
When: Friday, October 26 - Sunday, October 28
Cost: Water/Elec Site $20 per night (up to 8 people per site), Entry Fee $5 per person ages 13 and older

Take I-35 north of Denton. Exit FM 455 (exit #478). Go right (east) on Hwy 455 for about 7 miles. Then you cross a 3 mile dam. The State Park entrance will be the second left after the dam (about 1 mile past the dam). When you check in at the front entrance, tell them you're with the H.I.S. Homeschool group.

Join all your favorite barn-yard characters for this classic tale by E.B. White. On the Zuckerman farm, a prancing, playful pig named Wilbur is the runt of the litter and could be the main course for Christmas dinner. Determined to save her friend, a gray spider named Charlotte spins a web that just might convince the farmer that Wilbur is very special. The whole family will love this tale of friendship and loyalty!
