Standing Committees & Boards 2009
International Competitive Water Rocket Association
(Revised:January 13.2009)
Each committee must have an odd number of members with a minimum of three members for any committee.
Committee members must be current members of the association.
A chairperson for each committee will be appointed by the president of the association.
Only charges assigned to a specific committee shall be followed. Additional charges must be approved by the president of the association.
PEER-REVIEW BOARD:(PRB)
Responsibilities:
1. Provide oversight and certification for "Competition Recognition Guidelines" for
record achievement recognition.
2. Provide oversight and certification within the "Peer-Review Process" for
record achievement recognition.
3. To make recommendations to the President’s Council
Membership:

ELECTION COMMITTEE:
Responsibilities:
1. To plan and administer all elections leading to election of officers and
amendments.
2. To plan and administer all elections leading to any voting conducted by the
association membership.
3. Provide oversight and certification of elections.
4. To make recommendations to the President

PRESIDENT’S COUNCIL:
Responsibilities:
1. To provide coordination of senior administrative leadership of the
association.
2. To identify significant issues facing the association and seek solutions
through participation of the membership.
3. To serve in a rapid-response mode to association issues and problems
requiring immediate resolution.
4. To promote and encourage a spirit of cooperation and pride among all
association members.
