 * New member pics and action photos updated* The JVFD has recently purrchased a 1000 gal tanker/ pumper fire apparatus we should have it up and running soon This unit will help with structure fires and large grass fires. Currently the Department has updated its gear and equipment we have a new 2008 fire truck. We as well are working on grants for a larger tanker and more equipment. |

Joy VFD
The Joy VFD consists of 24 dedicated members of our community. Curentley we have 2 certified firefighter 3 EMT's and 3 instructors. We provide fire protection and first responders for a 320 sq. mile area in southern Clay County. We are members of the Clay County fire fighters assciation, Red River SFFMA,SFFMA of Texas. The Joy VFD has proudly serve our community since 1983 and will continue to serve our community.
Time: 5PM Place Joy Community Center Date: Nov. 1st We will have Brisket and al the trimmings as well as a homemade Smoker and a handmade Quilt to raffle Hope to see you there... cost is your donation..
Thanks to all of you the JVFD Fish Fry a great success. We appreciate your attendence and support.
Joy VFD and the Southwest Clay Co. Neighborhood Watch along with the CCSO K-9 unit were on hand to answer concerns and share information. We provided Hot Dogs deserts and drinks, we gaveaway a free Air Evac Membership, to our newest member Derek Leach and Family. Congrats!! So we hope to see you there next year.
