Thanksgiving Dinner Program
Volunteer Opportunity:
Thanksgiving Dinner Program
for the Community Storehouse
Every year, the Keller Council of PTA's and KISD Administration contribute to putting together dinner baskets for the Community Storehouse’s Thanksgiving Dinner Program. The Community Storehouse is a 501(c)(3) crisis relief agency established in 1982 to serve the children in our local community. Traditional Thanksgiving dinners will be distributed on November 23.
There are up to 3 ways you can make a difference this Thanksgiving. Whether it's your time, a donation of food or finances, the children of our community are grateful for you!
*Please remember that volunteers must be at least 10 years old and volunteers between 10 and 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent. You should be able to lift heavy boxes of food.

WANTED: Cookies for Faculty Cookie Baskets This KMS holiday tradition is a great way to show teachers your appreciation for all their hard work. PTA will host a holiday luncheon and prepare take home cookie baskets for them.
Save the Date: December 10th
Your help is needed to fill 90 staff holiday cookie baskets with two dozen treats!!! That’s over 2,100 assorted cookies, brownies, fudge, candied pretzels, etc. !

Cookie Drop Off Details
Cookie Drop-Off will be from
8:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 10th.
Bring cookies to the KMS Workroom and help assemble, if you can. (enter at front office or side).

Remember that while recalled toys are pulled from store shelves, they may still show up at thrift stores and garage sales. Keeping hazardous toys out of homes will help everyone have a safe and happy holiday.

Meeting Information
The last meeting of the KMS PTA Board was on October 5, in the library.
The next meeting of the board is in December (date and time pending). The General Meeting will be on February 1, at 7:00 p.m., 20 minutes prior to the school musical.
