welcom2.jpgThe Lone Star Caravaners RV Club ...

Welcome to the Lone Star Caravaners Club web site. Below you'll find some basic information about our club. To the left are links to our calendar and some other useful information.

If you'd like more info on our Club, please contact us via the email tool at the bottom of the page.

The Lone Star Caravaners Club needs more members in order to take advantage of reduced club rates at RV parks and affordable use of Rec. Halls. If your club finds itself in a similar situation, we'd like to hear from you. Please contact us using the "Contact" form below and someone from our Steering Committee will get in touch with you. Perhaps, working together, we can create a mutually beneficial "economy of size".

What we do ...

Several folks gather on Thursday for a cookout and tall-tale-tellin’. We even have some who show up on Wednesday!

Friday night is usually a trip into a nearby town for dinner.

Saturday is a pot-luck or theme social, and, ...

Sunday is time to head home.

Campouts are informal ... some folks go into town to shop, others play cards or dominoes, lots of talk, plenty of friendly advice ... and more.

The "business" of the Club is handled by a group of volunteers, known as the Steering Committee, to reduce wasted time in meetings. The emphasis is to have fun!

The LSCC originated in Houston, so most campouts are within a 2 hour drive of the Bayou City ... places like Bellville, Cut and Shoot, Flatonia, etc.

Our members are terrifc RV resources ...

Years of camping experience ...

Varied (and useful) skills and talents ...

Various recreational vehicles (not just one manufacturer) ...

 Reasons to join ...

1. Dues – only $10 per rig (lifetime membership)

2. Great people

3.Fun and games

4. Comfortable, laid back atmosphere
