My Resume Ronald E. Shultz (Ron) email home: mavmin(at)live.com Personal Mission statement My mission is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ through personally fulfilling the Great Commission in my life, and to assist and equip believers to fulfill the Great Commission in the context of the local church. My Core Values Integrity of Scripture The Bible is the perfect Word of God, inerrant, infallible, and fully authoritative and preserved in the Textus Receptus. The Bible is paramount and dominant in my preaching, teaching, and service. Dynamic Christian Life Worship and Spiritual growth are vital for the spiritual health of the individual Christian and the local church. Achieving Spiritual growth cannot happen apart from a personal devotional life in reading the Bible, prayer, evangelism, and fellowship. We must worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Romans 1:16 Evangelism It is important for every believer and local church to be involved in the evangelistic outreach of the church, both locally and worldwide. Acts 1:8 Quality Servanthood God should be first in our lives, realizing that all that we do, we should do with excellence because we are servants of the King of the universe. Romans 14:8; Colossians 3:23 Biblical Leadership Being a Christian leader first involves realizing that one is a servant to God. Additionally, every believer should be a servant according to the gifts each has been given. The role of leadership involves leading by example, providing structure for purposeful ministry, and equipping others to develop and use their gifts for Kingdom service and leadership. Ephesians 4:12; Matthew 20:27 My Life Ministry Objective I believe that the local church is God's primary institution to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Seminaries and other institutions do support work for support of the local church, but only the church and the family are mentioned directly in the Bible as earthly institutions created by and for God. It is, therefore, my calling and desire to surrender my life serving the Lord Jesus Christ in the local church or a capacity, which serves the local church.
