All of the ladies who participated at the pageant are truly winners. One can only imagine how difficult it was for the judges to select four of the twenty-three contestants. Ms. Texas Senior America will receive a paid trip to Atlantic City, where she will represent Texas in the National Ms. Senior America Pageant in November. She will also be a representative throughout the year in various functions across Texas.

The pageant is open to women who are 60 or older. The deadline for fees and forms is June 1, 2009. Forms may be requested from John Dornheim or downloaded from this website, (see "Links Section"). Dear Ladies: We invite you to be part of the Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant 2009. This is not a beauty pageant, but an event that represents the "positive image of aging." We are re-defining the senior woman.Our goal is to enrich the lives of all seniors, promoting the senior woman. We promote healthy aging, wellness, and mental well-being. Our pageant gives honor to all senior women. It exemplifies their dignity,maturity, inner beauty,talents and achievements of America's senior women.These ladies have reached the "age of elegance" and are the foundation of America.They are our most valuable treasures. It is upon their knowledge, experience and resources that the younger generation has the opportunity to build a better society. Contestants are judged on their Philosophy of Life, Evening Gown Competition, Talent, and Personal Interview. The 2009 winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to the national Ms. Senior America Pageant 2009,which will be held in Atlantic City in October along with other prizes!
