Anger Management Certificate Programs are now offered through the (IACPC ) International Association of Certified Pastoral Counselors we are proud to present our certification for anger management providers. NAAMP is a flagship program for the greater Dallas Lifeskills & Anger Management Group desigen to help compently certify individual who wish to enter the anger management world by becoming an anger management provider.

Chronic anger can be costly - physically, emotionally and relationally. Most people can use their anger in appropriate ways in some situations, and yet can be ineffectual or harmful in other situations. Participants will gain a new perspective on anger, how to let God control them when their anger flares up, and how to better manage responses to provoking situations.

Individuals taking the anger management courses will discover ways to:

1. Reduce levels of anger
2. Direct anger into healthy ways of problem-solving
3. Learn effective coping behaviors such as time-outs, prayer to stop escalation.
4. Address issues with assertiveness and requests.
5. Identify triggering situations.
6. Establish a strategy and plan of action.
7. Learn to forgive.
8. Apply new coping approaches to more effectively control unhealthy anger responses.



Goals: To reduce levels of anger in provocative situations. To learn effective coping behaviors in order to halt escalation and to resolve conflicts. Learn effective anger management skills .


Become A Certified Anger Management Provider " CAMS "

Certification Programs

The NAAMP Anger Management Specialist Certifications have been developed in response to the increased emphasis on developing accessible and effective anger management services and the accompanying need to provide training programs for both education and mental health professionals working in community educational settings as well as clinical therapeutic settings.

NAAMP Anger Management Specialist Certification(s) offers education professionals and schools/agencies, mental health professionals and agencies, as well as social service professionals and agencies an opportunity to expand their services.

NAAMP Anger Management Classes/Educational Services - Some anger management participants are mandated to take classes as a condition of probation, part of a plea bargain, or by their employer. Generally, these are people who are not seeking mental health services, but rather an educational approach. Their freedom and/or livelihood depends on completing a certain number of anger management classes, or a recognized anger management educational program.

Certification Benefits

Anger Management Basic Content Services Individuals may become approved Anger Management Basic Content Providers by qualifying to become Anger Management Specialist III (see below). This designation allows for the facilitation of training programs that lead to certifying others professionals as Anger Management Specialist I.

Anger Management Advanced Content Services Individuals may become approved Anger Management Advanced Content Providers by qualifying to become Anger Management Specialist. This designation allows for the facilitation of training programs that lead to certifying others professionals as Anger Management Specialist II.

Anger Management Supervision Services Individuals may become approved Anger Management Supervisors by qualifying to become Anger Management Specialist III. This designation allows for the supervision of individuals in training programs leading to certification as Anger Management Specialist I and Anger Management Specialist II.
